What Does “LibbeeLink” Mean?
“Libbee” comes from the Assyrian Neo-Aramaic word ܠܒܝ (lib-bee), meaning “my heart.” It's one of the most intimate and endearing words in our language—used by mothers, grandmothers, and loved ones across generations.
LibbeeLink is exactly what it sounds like: a link between hearts. A place where Assyrians from around the world can find meaningful connections rooted in shared culture, values, and heritage.
The name is our promise—every connection made here starts from the heart.

As members of the Assyrian diaspora, we understand the unique challenges of finding someone who shares our culture, values, and heritage. Most platforms aren't built with our community in mind, and relying solely on family connections or community events limits our options.

Hi, I'm Sarah! As an Assyrian woman with over 7 years of experience in tech, I've always dreamed of using my skills to create something meaningful for our community. Growing up, I witnessed countless friends and family members struggle to find partners who truly understand our culture, values, and traditions—limited by geography or simply not knowing where to look.
That's why I created LibbeeLink—to connect Assyrians worldwide and help build families that carry our heritage forward. This is more than a project to me; it's my contribution to preserving and growing our beautiful Assyrian community. Every connection made here is a step toward ensuring our culture thrives for generations to come.
